#18 BOBCATS RALLY TO BEAT MARINERS

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (April 10, 2021) - No. 18 St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Tennis (10-3) outlasted the College of Coastal Georgia in a Sun Conference match, defeating the Mariners 4-3 on Saturday afternoon from the STU Tennis Courts.

The Bobcats, without two of their top players, battled throughout the match, showcasing the culture Head Coach Matt Roche has instilled in his first season at the helm of the STU tennis programs. "Today was the perfect exemplification of our team motto this year, "DREAM," which stands for driven, resilient, energetic, adaptable and motivated," said Roche. "We played down our top two in the lineup, and others stepped up to win matches! This was a season-defining win for our program and what we are hoping to establish for the future."
