LAKE WALES, Fla. (October 19,2022)- The St. Thomas University (STU) picked up a dominant 5-0 win against Sun Conference opponent Warner University. It was a slow start for the Bobcats, all of the five goals being scored in the second half of the match. STU remains unbeaten and sits 7-0-3.
 
 
Fernando Arzeno got the ball rolling on a highlight reel goal. Nicolas Bertuleit perfectly placed a cross right to the running Arzeno for the header goal and his sixth of the season. After some back and forth action Facundo Cisterna would find the back of the net on a great feed from Tomas Persico. Cisterna received the cross and cut back and ripped the shot top right to beat the keeper. 
 
 
The Bobcats really found their stride this time Tomas Persico getting in on the action. Persico got his own rebound for the goal after receiving another perfect touch cross this time from Fernando Arzeno. Five minutes later Facundo Cisterna would put his name on the box score again after a Nicolas Bertuleit shot landed right at his feet and Cisterna made no mistakes. The final goal for STU was scored by Mark Oghogho off a corner kick that trickled through multiple players.
