MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (October 27, 2022)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer team had a great senior night winning by a score of four to nothing. After a pregame filled with senior festivities, the Bobcats had a great defensive performance, with a solid offensive performance, dominating the entire game and were able to get the win for the seniors.
The Bobcats started the game slow, with the first goal being scored closed to the 14 minute mark by senior
Karina Medina for her 9
th of the season. The rest of the scoring came in the second half with the second goal being scored by
Bryanna Alzate. Alzate received a beautiful feed from
Karina Medina to go one on one with the keeper and squeeze it into the bottom right of the goal.
Natalie Strkalj had the next tally for the Bobcats after a pass this time from
Bryanna Alzate that traveled through defenders and landed on Strkalj's feet for the tap in. The final goal scored by STU came off the head of defender Sarolta Oppllenad on a free kick from about thirty yards out from
Jocelyn Mendez.
