MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 5, 2022)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Football team celebrated the inaugural senior class with a big 59-20 win over the Warriors of Webber International. The Bobcats rushed for 381 yards and 518 yards of total offense. With this win STU moves to 8-2 on the season, and will play the final regular season game next week in Lakeland, Fla. against Southeastern University.

The Bobcats looked hungry early in this one. In the first drive of the game,
Rashard Farmer intercepted the Warrior Quarterback for the first of Farmers three interceptions on the day. The first touchdown of the game was a tough run up the middle by
Tyler Thomas at the Webber 1-yard line, and the extra point good from
Alejandro Prado 7-0. The STU defense stepped up forcing two three and outs. The Bobcats next drive would be a quick one with a
Tyler Thomas pass to C'quan Jnopierre and Jnopierre would take it 54-yards for the score 14-0.

Â
When it looked like the Warriors were going to get the ball back,
Alejandro Prado pooched the kickoff and the Bobcats recovered at the 29-yard line. Making no mistakes, Ty'quan Wiggins handed the ball to
Damian Heller for a quick six 21-0. With the ball back in the Warriors hands, they would go on a long drive, just to be intercepted again by
Rashard Farmer for his second of the day. A new Quarteback in, no problem, as Ty'quan Wiggins hit
Antoine Wright over the middle for the 34-yard touchdown, and the Bobcats are rolling. After a Warrior score, STU would drive down the field falling just short and
Alejandro Prado would come out to try the field goal. From 49-yards out Prado drilled it.
Â
Â
STU started the second half with the ball in their hands, and
Rontavious Farmer would heat up rushing for 34-yards in this drive.
Damian Heller topped it off with a 3-yard rush for the score. With some time passing with nothing happening, the Warrior QB was picked off for a third time by
Rashard Farmer. The next scoring drive by the Bobcats would be highlighted once again by
Rontavious Farmer, rushing for 41-yards this drive with a 3-yard touchdown run.
Â
Â
Standing tall the STU defense stopped the Warriors two fourth down attempts getting the ball back to the offense. Nearing the end, senior Elijah Barnwell decided the game was not quite over rushing for a 14-yard touchdown. The Bobcats recovered another on-side kick, picked up by none other than
Rashard Farmer. Senior
Abijah Ray was the workhorse for the Bobcats last drive rushing for 21-yards total and a 4-yard touchdown to end the scoring 59-20.
