MONTGOMERY, AL (December 29, 2022)- The St. Thomas University Men's basketball team was defeated by the University of Mobile by a score of 74 to 70 in a game that came down to the very end.Â

The Bobcats started the game off slow, with the Rams having a nearly 10-point lead at the half. STU brought the game back down to the wire making it a one score game with seconds remaining.Â

Dalon Dean lead the Bobcats with 16 points. Dean went 5-15 on field goals, 3-8 from behind the arc, and 3-3 at the line. Right behind Dean was nonother than
Fred Mulbah with 15 points and 4 assists. Mulbah shot 6 for 16 for field goals and went 3 for 5 at the line.Â

Joshua Thrower had a good night with 14 points with 8 rebounds.
D'Andre Johnson finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and was 4 for 6 inside the 3-point line. As a team, STU shot 41.1% on field goals, 29.4% from the 3-point line, and 72.2% from the foul line.Â
