- The day started off with an elimination game against the second seeded, McPherson Bulldogs.
- McPherson lost their first game against Webber International and worked their way back with a win against Middle Georgia State in the first elimination game.
- St. Thomas fell in extra innings against Webber International to fall into the elimination game.
- This was the first meeting between McPherson and St. Thomas baseball programs.
- The first three innings was a pitcher dual as Crosby Bringhurst took the mound for the Bobcats.
- Chris Schoeller broke the silence with a solo shot to left field to put STU up 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth.
- McPherson would take the lead in the top of the sixth scoring off of two doubles and a triple that scored two.
- After keeping St. Thomas at bay for four innings after the Schoeller blast, Brian Garcia got the bottom of the ninth inning started with a single to right field.
- Joey Thompson then drew a walk to have the first two batters aboard.
- An errant pick-off throw and wild pitch scored Garcia from second and tied the game when STU was down to their final strike.
- The 10th inning had both teams silent on the offensive end.
- In the top of the 11th, McPherson scored two runs taking advantage of a single down the right field line with the bases loaded.
- Fernando Medina then locked struck out the final two batters to kill the threat.
- Schoeller led off the bottom of the 11th with a single just over the shortstop's reach to get the offense going.
- Garcia then drew a walk after a Bulldog pitching change to keep the momentum with the Bobcats.
- Joey Thompson had the clutch gene running through his veins as smoked a ball passed the third baseman for a two-run double to tie the game.
- Addiel Quintana executed the perfect sacrifice bunt to move Thompson a sacrifice fly away from the championship game.
- After another Bulldog pitching change in the inning saw the first pitch spiked in the dirt and Thompson scored as STU ran away with the victory.
- The table was set for the rematch of the All-Sun Conference championship game.

- The seventh matchup of the season against Webber international was set as the teams would face off in the championship game.
- WIU could punch their ticket to the Avista-NAIA World Series with one win, STU was looking to force an, if necessary, game on Thursday afternoon.
- Luis Gonzalez had the start in hopes to let St. Thomas see another day.
- The sophomore was mainly the midweek starter for the back-half of the season and did not disappoint with his outing against the Warriors.
- In another game that saw the first three inning scoreless, the scoreboard added a crooked number in the top of the fourth with another Joey Thompson double.
- A wild pitch quickly had STU up 2-0.
- Andrew Fernandez was not ending his season today as he blasted a three-run shot on top of the batting cages to put the Bobcats up 5-0 in the top of the fifth.
- Webber International's Kenny Rodriguez broke the egg on scoreboard with a solo shot in the bottom of the sixth.
- Robin Fernandez had a lead-off single that set up Andrew Fernandez for his second multi-homerun of the game and extended the lead to 7-1.
- As Webber International was down to their final three outs, they were able to earn a run on a balk to make the final score, 8-2.
- Gonzalez pitched a complete game allowing just seven hits, two earned runs, a walk, and a picking up six strikeouts.

A winner takes all game is set for Thursday afternoon against #3 Webber International. It will be the eighth match up of the season between the teams. St. Thomas is looking to find their way back to Lewiston, Idaho and punch their ticket to the Avista-NAIA World Series for the third time in four years. First pitch is at 12 p.m.
