MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (August 31, 2022) – The receiving votes St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer team (3-1) picked up their third win of the season defeating the Conquistadors of Florida National University (0-1) 4-0, from Autonation Field.

Game Notes

• Oppelland scored off a free kick from Stein that slipped through the keepers hands and landed at her feet.
• Medina scored her second goal of the season with her head from a beautiful cross from Ferradaz to squeeze it into the left side of the net.
• In the 82nd minute Ferradaz blasted it top right corner on a one-touch volley from Medina.
• In the final two seconds of the game Medina had a tap in with an assist from Ferradaz making it four goals on the season.
• Amelia Rygh didn't see too much action, but stopped the two shots thrown her way.
• This was a very solid performance by the Bobcats with most of the action happening in the attacking end.
