MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (September 24, 2022)-  The No. 4 St. Thomas University Men's Soccer team had a dominant game against Sun Conference opponent Thomas University. The Bobcats had a slow start leading the Nighthawks one to nothing at the end of the first half. The game ultimately ended early due to weather.

• Guido Cacciabue opened the scoring for the Bobcats with a beautiful feed from Fernando Arzeno.
• Franco Acerbi had a solid game stopping all four shots faced. Thomas had four corners in the first half and two in the second half and Acerbi was able to control all of them.
• After a long lightning delay the Bobcats started quick in the second with Fernando Arzeno tallying his fourth of the season from a pass from Pascal Agostini to put the Bobcats up two nil.
• Staying on the gas pedal when Mark Oghogho dribbled through the Nighthawk defenders to feed Guido Cacciabue who tallied his second of the match, with a shot from 15 yards out that went off the left post and in.
• The Bobcats were getting traction when more lightning popped up and then game was called.
