Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. (January 26, 2023)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball team dropped a tough one against the Warner Royals on the road. After a late push from the Royals in the first half, the Bobcats were unable to work their way back into the game.
 
The first half started neck and neck. Both teams were hitting shots and the game had a nice flow. For about two minutes without any scoring, the Bobcats found a way to tie it up. The next few minutes, there would be six different lead changes.
 
Just under ten minutes to play in the first half, the Royals started to separate themselves. This was the first game in a while it felt like nothing could go the Bobcats way. Despite a late STU push late in the first half, Warner took a six-point lead into the locker room.
 
Starting out the second half, Warner came out running, working the game all the way to a sixteen-point differential. Despite a small push from the Bobcats, they were never able to get to within more than eight in the second half ultimately loosing 82-73.
