MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 12, 2023)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball team hosted Penn State Greater Alleghany for the home opener inside the Fernandez Family center. Milton Matthews was the story as he scored the most points in program history with 45. Matthews also broke a program record 11 three points made, which was previously 9 made.
 
The game started with a missed 3-pointer by St. Thomas' Ogoro, Daniel, followed by a rebound by Hernandez, Jordan. STU then took the lead with a good layup by Hernandez, Jordan.
The first half showcased intense back-and-forth action, with both teams making crucial plays and turnovers. Bobcats' Matthews, Milton, and Warren, Cearius, played pivotal roles, contributing with dunks and three-pointers.
