MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (February 10, 2023)- The St. Thomas University (STU) #8 Baseball team won game two of the series, the first game of the double header. The Bobcats would then lose the second game. 
 
 
Game Two

• In the bottom of the first, Joey Thompson got it started singling to short. Kevin Moreno came up next to bat drilling one to left to make it 2-0. Right after Robin Fernandez homered to make in 3-0.
• The Eagles went on to make it 8-3 in the top of the third. In the top of the fourth, Reinhardt added another 9-3. 
• In the bottom of the fourth, Chris Schoeller singled to center field scoring two 9-5. 
• Matt Granato pinch ran for Yoel Rojas and scored on a passed ball to get another in the bottom of the fifth 9-6 Eagles. 
• Angelo Piloto stepped into the box in the bottom of the sixth, blasting one to left field. After the Bobcats went on to load the bases, Kendry Noriega hit a grand slam to give STU the lead 11-9.
• A little while later in the eighth inning, Kevin Moreno hit another homer over the batting cages in left field bringing in Joey Thompson. Two batters later, Angelo Piloto homered for the second time as well bringing in Chris Schoeller 16-10 Bobcats.

 
 
Game Three

• The Eagles started the game fast scoring four runs in the first inning. 
• Reinhardt picked up another to make it 5-0 in the second.
• In the bottom of the third, Kevin Moreno doubled to right field scoring Kendry Noriega on second.
• Robin Fernandez got the Bobcats closer in the bottom of the fifth after he singled, scoring Matt Granato. Chris Schoeller added another to make it 5-3 after singling to right center driving in Kevin Moreno.
• The Eagles added another in the top of the seventh and the Bobcats were not able to come back. Final score 6-3.
