Box Score THOMASVILLE, Ga. (February 18, 2023)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Flag Football team was defeated by the Nighthawks from Thomas University in a hard-fought battle. The Bobcats and Nighthawks were nearly even in total yards on offense, but the Nighthawks walked away with a 26-18 win.
 
 
Game Summary 
 

• With no scoring and a lot of defense in the first quarter, the Bobcats broke the ice at the start of the second quarter with Jada Graham hitting Dominque Parkes for a five-yard touchdown pass 6-0 STU.
• With 8:45 to go in the second quarter, the Nighthawks tied it up at six.
• The Nighthawks took a 12-6 lead with 4:30 remaining in quarter two with a rushing touchdown.
• Nearing the end of the first half, Thomas scored once more off another long drive capped off by a short rushing touchdown 19-6 Nighthawks.
• At the start of the third quarter, the Nighthawks went up 26-6 off a 15-yard passing touchdown.
• The Bobcats stopped the bleeding later in the third quarter after Julianne Yulkowski hit Kayla Alvarez for an 11-yard touchdown pass 26-12 TU. 
• With just under three minutes remaining in the game, STU tried their hardest to put up a fight. Julianne Yulkowski passed it to Kayla Alvarez once more, this time for a 23-yard touchdown.
