MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (February 19, 2023)- The St. Thomas University #8 Baseball team defeated #23 Loyola (LA) 11-0 in third and final game of the series. The Bobcats were led by pitcher Crosby Bringhurst, and the electric offense. 
 
 
 
Game Summary 
 

• The Bobcats got to scoring early, with Kendry Noriega homering to left field, bringing in Lucas Lopez. 2-0 STU. 
• In the bottom of the second with the bases loaded, Joey Thompson reached on a fielder's choice, scoring Robin Fernadez who walked. 3-0 STU.
• Staying in the bottom of the second, Chris Schoeller was hit by a pitch which drove in a run. Brian Garcia also drove in a run by working a walk. 5-0 STU. 
• In the bottom of the third, Robin Fernandez and Rey Hernandez hit back to back home runs to right field. 7-0 STU. 
• A couple of batters later, Chris Schoeller stepped into the batter's box, and drilled a grand slam over the left field wall. 11-0 STU.
