LAKE WALES, Fla. (March 10, 2023)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Baseball team picked up another victory in the Warner Tournament, this time against Siena Heights. 
 
 
Game Recap
 

• In the first inning, Joey Thompson doubled, which brought Omar Baldo home for the early lead.
• The Bobcats weren't done yet in the first, as Chris Schoeller hit a SAC fly to score Joey Thompson. A couple batters later Francis Pinales Jr. hit a triple to score Kendry Noriega.
• The fourth and final run scored in the first came off the bat of Rey Hernandez who singled to bring in Pinales Jr. 
• The Saints rallied in the bottom of the second to take a 6-4 lead. 
• In the top of the third STU took the lead back, with Francis Pinales Jr. getting it started with a single to score Kendry Noriega.
• Two batters later, Alan Caretta hit one up the middle to bring Rey Hernandez and Francis Pinales Jr. in to score. 
• In the top of the fourth, the Bobcats picked up two more. Rey Hernandez singled and brought in Chris Scholler. And then Alan Caretta singled again which scored Kendry Noriega.
• In the tenth Joey Thompson tallied one run, after walking in an earlier at bat. 
• The Saints got to within one in the bottom of the sixth to make it 10-9.
• In the final inning Rey Hernandez singled once again which scored Chris Schoeller. And the Saints would not score in the bottom of the seventh, ending at 11-9 Bobcats.
