Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. (April 6, 2023)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Flag Football team defeated the Royals of Warner University to keep the streak rolling. Holly Neher once again had a solid game, throwing for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns.
 
The Bobcats were scoreless in their first three possessions, and the Royals struck first on their second possession to make it 6-0. The next drive STU got in some trouble when Neher was intercepted for a pick six, making it 12-0. The next drive however the Bobcats responded, as Holly Neher hit Tashumba Washington for a 15-yard touchdown grab, 12-7 Royals.
 
Dominque Parkes said we aren't done yet, and intercepted the Royals QB returning it 21-yards to the house to give STU a 14-12 lead in the second quarter. Warner answered right back scoring on their next drive to regain the lead 19-14.
 
At the start of the third quarter the Royals started with the ball, and marched down the field to extend their lead 25-14. With some work to do, STU responded with an 11 play drive that was capped off with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Rayonna Baker from Neher to make it a manageable 25-20.
 
The STU defense came up huge, and gave the ball back to the offense. Making no mistakes the Bobcats went on a 9 play drive that ended in a 39-yard catch and run for Kailey Miller 27-25. To end the game, the STU defense stopped the last ditch effort from the Royals in 5 plays.
