MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 5, 2024) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer team is set to host the Sun Conference Quarterfinals on Thursday evening, where they will face off against
Ave Maria University.
In their last match up, the Bobcats defeated Ave Maria on the road, 2-0. Gabi Cimino scored both goals for St. Thomas, securing the victory. Earlier in the season, the Bobcats hosted the Gyrenes at AutoNation field, ending the match in a 1-1 draw. The Gyrenes are entering the match up with an overall record of 6-4-4 and a Sun Conference record of 3-2-3. The Bobcats will be entering postseason play with a record of 7-3-5 and a Sun Conference record of 4-3-1. The match up will take place on the Thursday, November 7th at 5 p.m. at AutoNation Field.
