MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (February 22, 2024) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball team will travel to Babson Park, Fla. to face Webber International University for their last game of regular season play.  

In their last meeting, the Bobcats defeated the Warriors on their home court, 78-62. The Bobcats had four players in the double figures with Marta Franco leading the charge with 18 points. Sophie Vandyke and Paige McDonald both picked up 16 points and nine rebounds during the game. Brooke Bogatz added 14 points to the score and recorded nine rebounds of her own. The Bobcats are 28-8 against the Warriors in series history and are 7-3 in the last 10 matchups. Webber is currently sitting at fifth place in the Sun Conference with a conference record of 6-7, defeating Ave Maria in their most recent game. The match up will take place on Saturday, February 24th at 2 p.m. in Babson Park, Fla. 

PLAYERS TO WATCH 

• Paige McDonald notched a double-double performance against Keiser University on Wednesday, recording 16 points and 12 rebounds. This was McDonald's third double-double of the season, entering the last game of the season second in both scoring and rebounds with 283 points and 169 rebounds. 

• Bria Brown had a great game against Keiser, recording 13 points. Brown also put up six rebounds and three assists against the Seahawks. 

• Marta Franco had another double-figure game on Wednesday evening, scoring 13 points against Keiser. Franco is currently the third leading scorer for the Bobcats with 263 points this season.
