Miami Gardens, Fla. - Due to weather in the South Florida area, the 12th-ranked St. Thomas University football team's 2024 season opener against the University of Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, Aug. 31 has been postponed. A makeup date is to be determined.

Prior to the game being postponed, the Bobcats scored a touchdown on their opening drive with Keely Watson connecting with David Hayes for a 19 yard score with 12:35 remaining in the first quarter.

The Bobcats welcome #22 Louisiana Christian on Saturday, Sept 7 in a 12 p.m. contest.
