Bobcats Route Royals in an Impressive Offensive Display

MIAMI GARDENS, FL (JANUARY 11, 2025) - The St. Thomas University men's basketball team routed the Warner University Royals by a final score of 102 - 71. 

 

The Bobcats showcased one of their best offensive performances throughout the entire season. The squad tapped into a stellar 68.4% field goal percentage for the game, which is the best in 

program history percentage on record. put up 60 points in the second half. 

 

Although the Bobcats shot impressively for the entire game, the men did well especially from beyond the arc, as they knocked down 52.2%.


Zach Moss has plenty to be proud of on the offensive side of the ball as he saw two of his guys well above in double digit scoring with junior Esteban Lluberes notching 29 points and junior Dalon Dean with an additional 24 points. 


The Bobcats controlled the rhythm offensively as the second half went on, including an impressive run by senior Cearius Warren, as he put up 11 points, which were all dunks. 

 

Moss and friends will have a few days off as they prepare for the classic "Battle of Miami Gardens" as they host familiar foe Florida Memorial University on Wednesday night. 

 

Tip off is set for 7PM at the Fernandez Family Center.
