Miami Gardens, Fla. – Entering the final month of the 2024-25 regular season, the St. Thomas Men's and Women's Basketball teams host the College of Coastal Georgia for a Sun Conference doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 1 starting with the women at 2:00 p.m.

The Bobcats (14-6, 7-2 Sun Conference) return home after outscoring host Webber International by 20 points in the second half en route to a 78-59 triumph on Wednesday, Jan. 29. STU averages 66.1 points on a .386 field goal percentage with 45.5 rebounds, 14.5 assists, 8.9 steals and 3.5 blocks.

Jasmine Worthy paces a trio of active Bobcats average double-digit points behind 11.2 on a .484 field goal percentage, getting the ball from Joey Delancy who dishes out 3.5 assists on top of 10.3 points. Sophie Vandyke pulls down a team-leading 8.7 rebounds to go with 2.2 blocks while Maddie Scharrenberg and Morgan Taylor both record 1.4 steals.

Coastal Georgia (10-7, 3-6 Sun Conference) heads to St. Thomas following a 70-66 midweek setback at Southeastern on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The Mariners average 64.6 points on a .383 field goal percentage with 41.6 rebounds, 13.4 assists, 8.9 steals and 3.8 blocks.

Morgon Webb scores a team-leading 12.3 points while Tyler Butler fills out the stat sheet behind 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks. Peyton Shafer sparks Coastal Georgia on defense using 2.9 steals, orchestrating the Mariners' offense on the other side of the court behind 2.8 assists.

STU (7-12, 3-7 Sun Conference) welcomes the College of Coastal Georgia after falling 84-76 at Webber International on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The Bobcats average 74.1 points on a .445 field goal percentage with 36.3 rebounds, 14.5 assists, 5.4 steals and 2.4 blocks.

Esteban Lluberes uses a team-leading 16.9 points and 1.2 steals to spark the Bobcats on both ends of the court. Sean Shore contributes a team-best 6.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists while Cearius Warren boasts 1.4 blocks.

Coastal Georgia (7-11, 4-5 Sun Conference) treks to Miami Gardens after falling at Southeastern 74-57 on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The Mariners average 72.5 points on a .432 clip with 34.7 rebounds, 10.9 assists, 7.1 steals and 2.7 blocks.

Kaden McArthur fuels Coastal Georgia's offense behind 18.0 points and 3.4 assists, followed by Salle Wilson who adds 15.9 points on top of 3.1 assists and a team-high 1.9 steals. Jeremiah Camara contributes a team-leading 5.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks.
