Lakeland, Fla. – Taking the ball 75 yards on their opening drive to start Saturday's Sun Conference clash, the ninth-ranked St. Thomas University Football Team defeated host Warner University 52-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Keely Watson found Isaiah Lopez for a one yard touchdown pass for the opening score of the game.
- Dreylan Martin capped off a 58-yard drive with a one yard touchdown to make it 14-0 with 4:11 remaining in the first quarter.
- The Bobcats orchestrated a two-play, 58 yard drive to create a 21-0 score with 34 seconds left in the opening quarter.
- Zach Alvarez converted a 43-yard field goal with 4:12 remaining in the second quarter to make it 24-0.
- Warner ended the half with a field goal to make it 24-3.
- The host made it 24-6 with 11:26 remaining in the third quarter after converting on a field goal.
- Jaelyn Thomas ran the ball 16 yards to make it 31-6 with 5:03 remaining in the third quarter.
- Thomas and Watson connected for a 28-yard touchdown to make it 38-6 with 1:48 left in the third quarter.
- David Hayes caught a four-yard touchdown pass to make it 45-6 with 9:23 left to play.
- Dreylan Martin concluded the scoring with a four-yard run.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Watson went 15-34 for 227 yards and three touchdowns
- Thomas rushed for 72 yards and one score.
- Hayes caught seven passes for 82 yards and one touchdown.
- Trevon Williams boasted five tackles for 28 yards lost with three coming from sacks.
- Elian Godin and Jerome Mitchell each intercepted the ball.
- Since surrendering a touchdown with 13:10 remaining in the third quarter against nationally-ranked Georgetown College, the Bobcats have not allowed another touchdown in the past 148:10 minutes on the field.
