Miami Gardens, Fla. – Coming out with a strong start to Saturday afternoon's Sun Conference contest against Webber International, boasting a .500 hitting percentage in the first set versus a -.087 clip for the visitors, the 12th ranked St. Thomas University Women's Volleyball Team overcame a second set slip for a 3-1 (25-10, 19-25, 25-17, 28-26) victory over the visiting Warriors.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats scored the opening two points of the match and never trailed in the initial set, creating a double-digit lead at 19-9.
- Trailing 18-12 in the second frame, STU rallied to get within two at 18-16 and again at 19-17 before a 3-0 Warriors run created a 22-17 separation.
- After splitting the initial 22 points of the third frame, the Bobcats scored three-straight to take a 14-11 lead while holding the visitors without a run greater than two for the duration of the set to take a 2-1 overall lead.
- St. Thomas overcame an early 10-5 deficit to knot the score at 13-all before pulling ahead behind a 5-0 run to make it 18-13. The Warriors fended off two match points and forced set point at 26-25 before a 3-0 Bobcats' run ended the match.
