Men's Soccer Overcomes Early Goal For 3-2 Win On Senior Day

Miami Gardens, Fla. – Despite surrendering a goal two minutes into Thursday evening's Sun Conference contest against SCAD-Savannah, the St. Thomas University Men's Soccer team overcame the early deficit in a 3-2 victory over the Fighting Bees on Senior Day.

  • SCAD got on the scoreboard 1:49 into the contest.
  • Tim Kreuzpeintner evened the score in the eighth minute off a pass from Luca Heusser.
  • The Fighting Bees recreated their one-goal lead in the 10th minute.
  • Thiago Patto found Heusser in the 25th minute to knot the score at 2-2.
  • Bouger Bouzis propelled the Bobcats to a 3-2 lead off a pass from Angelo Bernardes.

NOTEWORTHY:
  • Heausser tallied a goal and assist.
  • Kreuzpeinter has scored five goals with one assist over the Bobcats' last five games.
