Lakeland, Fla. – Facing a 2-0 deficit in enemy territory on Saturday afternoon, the 12th ranked St. Thomas Women's Volleyball Team rallied to force a tiebreaker fifth set before host Southeastern University closed the 3-2 (25-13, 25-18, 21-25, 17-25, 15-12) setback.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set 1 – Southeastern scored the opening point of the contest and never trailed during the first set.
- Set 2 – The Bobcats scored back-to-back points after the host kicked off the second set with a tally to take an early 2-1 lead, only for the Fire to counter with a 6-0 run to boast a 7-2 lead.
- Set 3 – After trading the initial 26 points of the third set, STU connected on back-to-back points to take a 15-13 lead and kept the advantage for the rest of the frame.
- Set 4 – STU used an early 5-0 run in the fourth set to pull ahead 6-2 and held the host without a run greater than three for the entire stanza to force a fifth set.
- Set 5 – SEU withstood a 4-0 start by the Bobcats and took a 7-6 lead, taking set point at 14-10.

- STU finished the match with 58 kills on a .172 hitting percentage versus 61 kills on a .216 clip for the Fire.
- St. Thomas served four aces while Southeastern tallied seven.
- The Bobcats logged five solo blocks and 16 assisted, Southeastern recorded three solo blocks with 14 assisted.
- SEU held a 71-67 advantage in digs.
