MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA — St. Thomas University's sharp-shooting guard Blake Neverdon has been named the Sun Conference Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week after delivering a spectacular performance that powered the Bobcats to an 86 -81 vs Tougaloo on Saturday.
Neverdon was nearly flawless from the field, scoring 30 points on 8 -9 shooting, including an impressive 7 -8 from three point range, and 7 of 10 from the free throw line..
In addition to his scoring, Neverdon contributed four rebounds, three steals, and an assist in his 36 minutes on the floor.
Neverdon and the Bobcats are back in action on Thursday, November 6 as they take on Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
Tip off is scheduled for 6PM.
