Bobcats Dominate Warriors, 55–21, Behind Watson’s Five-TD Showcase

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The St. Thomas Bobcats delivered a statement win on Saturday, rolling past Webber International 55–21 behind a record-setting performance from quarterback Keely Watson, who tossed five touchdown passes to lead a relentless offensive attack. Watson also surpassed a milestone in his Collegiate career, throwing 70+ touchdowns, and 7,000 throwing yards.

The Bobcats set the tone early with a 13-play, 82-yard drive capped by Isaiah Lopez's 29-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter. The Warriors briefly evened the score at 7–7 after a rush from two yards out, but from there, it was all St. Thomas.

In the second quarter, Watson caught fire, leading four straight scoring drives in explosive fashion. He found David Hayes for a 4-yard touchdown before connecting with Dreylan Martin on a 55-yard strike to extend the lead to 20–7. On the very next possession, Watson hit Hayes again—this time for a 17-yard score—and Lopez added his second touchdown of the day on a 3-yard run, giving St. Thomas a commanding 34–7 halftime advantage.

Webber showed fight in the third quarter, putting together a 14-play, 68-yard drive capped by a 1-yard keeper, but Watson and the Bobcats responded quickly. Early in the fourth, he launched a 49-yard strike to Jaden Fox Harrington, and after another WIU score, Watson and Fox Harrington connected again—this time from 60 yards out—for their second touchdown hookup of the day.

Watson closed out his masterpiece by finding Jaelyn Thomas on a 30-yard touchdown pass, sealing the 55–21 victory.

Watson finished with five touchdown passes, spreading the ball efficiently across multiple targets, while Lopez added two rushing scores. The Bobcats' defense also stood tall, forcing short fields that set up several quick-strike drives.

With the win, St. Thomas improves its record and continues to build momentum heading into the final game of the season against Florida Memorial.
