Hardeeville, S.C. – After crossing the finish line at the 25:33.1 marker during Saturday morning's 2025 Sun Cross Country Conference Championship, St. Thomas University's Mattia Uboldia was named the league's Men's Cross Country Freshman of the Year. As a team, both the Men and Women finished fourth in their respective races while Parker Doll joined Uboldia with All-Conference accolades.
Uboldia was the first Bobcat to finish in the Men's race and fourth overall to earn Freshman of the Year honors. Doll ran a 26:23.8 8K to place 14 and earn All-Conference distinction. Dudley Moise cracked the top-25 with a 27:20.8 run, followed by Jonathan Petit-Frere (27:25.7) and Alain Bermadez (27:30.8).
On the Women's side, Jenna Bailey recorded a 26:31.1 6K to finish first for the Bobcats followed by Kaycie Aquilino who recorded a 26:38.8 time. Ahlia Sandifer (28:13.4), Amari Whetro (28:23.2) and Natalia Higashi (28:40.5) rounded out the top five for STU.
