Miami Gardens, Fla. – Playing in their long-awaited home opener after starting their inaugural season on the road, the St. Thomas Men's Volleyball team never trailed against visiting Millennia Atlantic University in a 3-0 (25-8, 25-12, 25-15) exhibition sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set 1 – STU held the visitors without a run of consecutive points during the entire opening set, scoring 14-straight to quickly boast a 23-6 advantage.
- Set 2 – After trading the opening four points of the second stanza the Bobcats scored four-straight to create a 6-2 cushion, extending it to double-digits at 16-6 behind a 6-0 run.
- Set 3 – Holding a one-point lead early in the third set at 7-6 following back-to-back MAU points, the Bobcats used a 4-0 response to pull ahead 13-7 while holding the visitors without a run of consecutive points for the duration of the match.

- STU finished the match with 41 kills on a .583 hitting percentage versus 21 kills on a .000 clip for the visitor.
- St. Thomas served four aces while MAU tallied one.
