CANTON, Mo. (February 28, 2025) - The (RV) Women's Lacrosse team took on Culver-Stockton on Friday evening on their second road trip of the season. The Bobcats had a stellar performance against the Wildcats, taking them down 13-2. 

Jenna Lytch was the first to put the Bobcats on the board in period one, followed by Paige Peters who began her scoring drive. The Wildcats responded as the clock ran out, but St. Thomas led 2-1 heading into period two. It was an even match in the second, with Lytch picking up another goal in response to Culver-Stockton's equalizer. STU led 3-2 heading into halftime.

The Bobcats ran away with the lead in the third quarter with Jewell Milliman, Hailey Joselyn, Laura Sparks, and Lytch each adding a goal and Peters adding two. Caitlyn Sgambellone, Peters, and Joselyn also added goals in the fourth quarter to further extend the lead. St. Thomas held the Wildcats to two goals for the entirety of the second half, but extended their lead to 13-2 to finish the game. Peters led the charge for the Bobcats, finishing with four goals and two assists, while Lytch followed closely behind with three.

This win brings the Bobcats' record to 3-2 overall. Up next, they will face off against Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas on Saturday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m. CT
