The St. Thomas University Women's Tennis clinched their first match in the 2025 season with a commanding 4-0 win against the University of Mobile Rams on Thursday afternoon.
Alejandro Ciffoni's squad notched an impressive first day on the road in the SUN/SSAC/AAC crossover tournament.
Here is how it all unfolded:
#2 Doubles - Sezin Akin and Caterina Antonini dominated with a 6-0 win to go up 1-0 in the doubles.
#3 Doubles - Lauren Fullerton and Jenesie Burgos followed up with a 6-2 win to earn the doubles point, giving the girls a 1-0 lead going into singles play.

#3 Singles - Anita Chornei also earned first Bobcat win as she rolled to a 6-0 6-0 win.
#4 Singles - Sezin Akin got her first St. Thomas win with a commanding 6-0 6-1 win at the 4 slot.
#5 Singles - Caterina Antonini won her first collegiate match, in a strong 6-2 6-1 win.
The Bobcats will return to action in the Yellowhammer state tomorrow, February 7, as they take on Loyola University (LA).
