MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (March 20, 2025) - The (RV) Women's Lacrosse team hosted #10 Life University on Thursday afternoon for another Sun Conference meeting. The match up was a back-and-forth fight until the final minute, but the Running Eagles ultimately defeated the Bobcats 12-11. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• The Running Eagles were the first on the board with a goal in the fifth minute of play and another a few minutes later. The Bobcats were quick to respond with a goal from Jenna Lytch.
• Caitlyn Sgambellone scored with five minutes left of the first on a free position shot to narrow the gap, 2-3 at the end of the first.
• The Bobcats took off scoring in the second quarter, with a goal from Lytch, Paige Beardsley, Billi Legg, and a hat trick from Hailey Joselyn. Joselyn also notched two assists in the quarter, while Paige Peters picked up one. The Eagles were able to match the energy, tying it up 8-8 at the halftime break.
• The third quarter saw a goal from Life just 10 seconds in. Joselyn picked up two more goals in the third, both assisted by Peters. 
• Joselyn finished off the game with the 11th goal, her fifth of the game. The Bobcats ultimately fell to the Running Eagles 12-11.

Up next, the Bobcats will host Florida Atlantic University for their Senior Day celebration on Thursday, March 27th at 7 p.m.
