MIAMI GARDENS, FL - The St. Thomas University women's tennis team ended their 2025 Sun Conference campaign with a semifinal appearance.
The Bobcats traveled to Brunswick, GA earlier this week to take part of the Sun Conference tournament, as they entered the tournament as the fourth seed.
On Tuesday, the Bobcats cruised to a quick 4-0 victory over Florida National, sweeping both doubles and singles.
Earlier today, head coach
Alejandro Ciffoni's squad faced #1 seed Keiser and fell 0-4.
Despite the loss, women's tennis can look back at several positives throughout the season, including
Anita Chornei earning top 25 ITA rankings.
The Bobcats will now turn their attention to the NAIA tournament, as they await their next opponent in the selection show.
The NAIA tournament opening round is set to run from May 13-17 in Mobile, Alabama.
