Babson Park, Fla. - Wrappnig up their inaugural regular season on Saturday afternoon, the 11th-ranked St. Thomas Men's Volleyball Team swept No. 12 Reinhardt University (25-18, 26-24, 25-17) to claim the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Regular Season title.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Set 1 – After trading two-point rallies to start the match, STU scored three-straight while holding Reinhardt without a run greater than two for the entire set to take a 1-0 overall lead. 

• Set 2 – Trailing late in the second set 22-21, the Bobcats flipped the one-point lead behind back-to-back points, doing so again with a tied 24-24 score to go up 2-0. 

• Set 3 – The Bobcats withstood a 6-1 Reinhardt rally that propelled them to an 11-10 lead midway through the third set, countering with a 7-1 stretch to boast a 17-12 advantage. 

 
NOTEWORTHY: 

• Kaelen Ingram paced the offense behind 12 kills on a .556 hitting percentage. 

• Matheus Collares dished out 37 assists. 

• Gabriel Pavao Vianna tallied 15 seven. 

• Jesus Montes boasted three solo blocks. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• STU finished the match with 39 kills on a .389 hitting percentage versus 31 kills on a .131 clip for the Life. 

• St. Thomas served five aces versus eight for Reinhardt. 

• The Bobcats logged five solo blocks and four assisted, Reinhard recorded six assisted. 

• STU held a 26-20 advantage in digs.
