Late Rally Falls Short For Women's Soccer Against No. 1 Keiser

Miami Gardens, Fla. – Despite scoring more goals on the top-ranked team in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) than any other team this season, the St. Thomas University Women's Soccer team's late rally against Keiser fell short in a 3-2 setback.

HOW IT HAPPENED:  
  • Keiser took the lead in the 30th minute off a corner kick.
  • The Seahawks extended their lead in the 54ht minute before creating a 3-0 advantage in the 83rd minute.
  • Julia Ezcurra converted on a penalty kick in the 87th minute to get the Bobcats on the scoreboard.
  • Natalie Woodward found Leenah Bigby in the final minute to make it a one-goal contest.
