MIAMI GARDENS, FLA (JANUARY 24, 2026) - The St. Thomas University Bobcats dropped a hard-fought contest to No. 6 Keiser University, falling 78–69 on Wednesday night.
St. Thomas stayed within striking distance for most of the game and even grabbed a brief second-half lead, but Keiser's efficiency in the paint and on the glass proved to be the difference. The Seahawks shot 46.8 percent from the field and scored 46 of their 78 points in the paint while holding a 43–33 rebounding advantage.
Adrian Cruz led the Bobcats with 21 points, knocking down 8-of-16 shots from the floor and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc while playing all 38 minutes. Kaleb Myers added 14 points and five rebounds, and Noah Tovar provided a strong spark off the bench with 12 points, nine rebounds, and four assists in 31 minutes.
St. Thomas shot 44.6 percent from the field and 37.0 percent from three-point range, connecting on 10 triples, but struggled at the free-throw line, going 9-of-17. The Bobcats also committed 10 turnovers, which Keiser converted into 12 points.
Keiser was paced by Camerin James, who poured in a game-high 22 points on 10-of-18 shooting while adding nine rebounds. Nadir Myers chipped in 17 points, and Cameron Baldwin was perfect from the field, finishing with 10 points, four rebounds, four steals, and two blocks.
The Bobcats trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half but battled back to keep the game tight throughout the second half. Keiser built its largest lead of 13 with 1:28 remaining, sealing the outcome down the stretch.
St. Thomas finished with 30 points in the paint and 15 assists on 25 made field goals, while Keiser controlled the interior and capitalized on second-chance opportunities, scoring 17 points off offensive rebounds.
The Bobcats will look to regroup as they continue conference play, while Keiser improves its resume with another ranked victory.
