Bobcats Look to Continue Early Season Momentum
St. Thomas Women's Soccer is off to their best start since the 2023 season, in which they started the season on a four-game winning streak and later made the NAIA Women's Soccer First Round. This season, the Bobcats have outscored their opponents 6-1 in their first three wins. Hanah Gonzalez has led the Bobcats offensively, with a goal and an assist on the young season. 

Strong Bobcats Defense
The Bobcats have been strong defensively to start the year, allowing just one goal in their first three games. Their defense has been a big reason behind their early season success, as they have allowed just six shots per game. Bobcats goaltending has only seen eight total shots on goal this year. Emma Butcher has allowed 180 minutes of shutout goaltending in three games, including a shutout in the Bobcats victory over Florida National on Friday. 
 

Scouting Carroll
Bobcats Women's Soccer will face the Fighting Saints for the first-time ever. Carroll College started their season on Saturday, with a 2-0 loss to Keiser. The Fighting Saints will have less than 24 hours to recover before facing the Bobcats. Carroll did not have many scoring opportunities, as they only had four total shots in their first game of 2026. In 2025, Carroll College went 7-5-5, and they reached the quarterfinals of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Soccer Championship.
