St. Thomas University Bobcats

My name is Andrew Rifkin, I was born on September 29, 1989, in Miami. I attended Christopher Columbus High School. I’m a sophomore, studying Sports Administration. I have been playing tennis since I was 12. I played USTA and ITF tournaments until I was 18. I was ranked as high as top 400 in the U.S. as a junior. In high school I played all four years and made it to states my last two years, where I lost in the semifinals of both doubles and singles. For my freshman year at St. Thomas I posted a record of 8 wins and 6 losses in singles, and 5 wins and 8 losses in doubles, partnering with Adrian Escarate. During the fall season, the team traveled to Daytona where I lost in the second round in singles and quarterfinals in doubles, partnering with Federico Acevedo.
