Career: Bennett III served as a captain for the inaugural season of St. Thomas Football in 2019... started all ten games in the program's first campaign, registering 73 total tackles, including 9.5 tackles-for-loss and recorded 2.5 sacks... notched a season-high of 12 tackles against Faulkner in the season finale, where STU won the first home game in program history... Bennett III was named to the Mid-South Conference First-Team, one of five St. Thomas University players to garner recognition in year one of the program.

2020 Season: Bennett III served as a captain for the second year in a row...started all seven games registering 63 tackles (42 unassisted), including 10.5 tackles-for-loss with one sack...Bennett III also deflected one pass and had a fumble recovery...Best game came against Webber International in the season finale where Bennett III recorded a season high 13 tackles, 10 of which were unassisted.

2021 Season: Bennet III served once again as a captain and started every game registering 27 tackles and 40 total tackles, along with 14 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. Bennet III served as one of the biggest backbones in the Bobcats defense all season.
