Burzanko entering his 7th season at St Thomas, his 4th season serving as the Running Back Coach and is the Director of Player Personnel.
In his role as Running Backs Coach, Burzanko has developed one of the most elite ground attacks in the NAIA. His unit consistently ranked among the best in the country, anchored by generational talent Rontavious Farmer, who:
· Became the All-Time Collegiate Rushing Leader in the State of Florida with 5,719 yards.
· Ranks 2nd All-Time in Career Rushing Yards in NAIA History.
· 2024 – NAIA Nation’s #2 Leading Rusher – Running Back of the Year/First Team All-Conference in the Sun-Conference/
AP-All American 2nd Team/NAIA AFCA All-American 2nd Team/Walter Camp Foundation All-American

· 2022: 2,314 rushing yards, 5.3 YPC
· 2023: 2,818 rushing yards, 5.7 YPC
· 2024: 1,933 rushing yards, 5.2 YPC
Burzanko also served as a leader of the Special Teams units from 2021–2024. From 21-23 serving as the Kickoff Return Coach, and 2024 Serving as the Punt Coach.
· 2024 Punt Team: 46.8 yards per punt (net avg: 41.75)
· Developed Kristian Karoglan into a First Team All-Conference Punter
· KOR Avg: 19.3 yards over three seasons
Before serving as the Running Back Coach, Burzanko served his first 3 years as a Wide Reciever and Tight end Coach which led to conference recognition in 2021:

· Khalitri Zow & C’Quan Jnopierre - Second Team All-Conference (WRs)
Along with his duties on the field as a coach at St Thomas, Burzanko has taken on the role as the Director of Player Personnel for the St Thomas University Football Program in 2025.
Since his time here at ST Thomas, Burzanko has built and led the St. Thomas University Women’s Flag Football Team since its launch in 2020. Under his leadership, the team has been nationally ranked in the Top 5 for five consecutive seasons, reaching the national Final Four twice and achieving an overall record of 57-30. He has produced All-Conference talent each year, including a Player of the Year in 2022. Burzanko stepped down as Head Coach in the fall of 2025 and replacing him is his long-time assistant coach Derek Duque.
