Tony Neymeiyer enters his seventh season on staff with St. Thomas University, his sixth serving as the offensive coordinator and his first as the Assistant Head Coach after previously serving as the Chief of Staff. Neymeiyer also serves as an assistant athletic director, in charge of athletic facilities.
In 17 years of coaching, Neymeiyer has coached at every level of college football, producing a top-5 offense in school history at each stop. Over his career, Neymeiyer has coached 54 All-Conference performers, 13 All-Americans, 7 Conference Players of the Year and 8 players who have gone on to play in the NFL & CFL, including current Washington Commanders offensive lineman and Super Bowl Champion Andrew Wylie.
Under Neymeiyer’s tutelage, the Bobcat Offense has turned into one of the top units in the SUN Conference and the nation. Among a long list of highlights, there are several standout statistics and awards, including:

Prior to joining STU, Neymeiyer spent three seasons (2016-2018) as the Tight Ends & Tackles coach at Savannah State University, an FCS program. While at SSU, Neymeiyer helped lead the Tigers to unprecedented heights, including the most wins in school history over a three-year period and the most FCS wins in school history. Furthermore, as the Academic Coordinator, Neymeiyer helped the Tigers raise their standard in the classroom as well, as SSU recorded the highest team GPA and APR scores in school history.
Prior to joining Savannah State University, Neymeiyer was the offensive line coach at Notre Dame College from February 2016 until July 2016 during his second stint at the school, and The Bay City, MI native served as the offensive line graduate assistant at Eastern Michigan University from March 2014 until February 2016, where he worked under Chris Creighton and with Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb. Neymeiyer directly assisted the offensive staff in all phases of creating and installing the offensive philosophy and game plan, as well as working with the offensive line to help produce one of the top offenses in school history in 2015. Off the field, Neymeiyer was instrumental in helping to create multiple standards of excellence within the program.
Prior to EMU, Neymeiyer was the offensive line coach at Baldwin Wallace University from March 2013 until March 2014, where BWU went 6-4 and the offense averaged 352.4 yards per game, 236 rushing yards per game and coached two All-Conference Players and one All-American. Neymeiyer was the offensive line graduate assistant coach at Notre Dame College from March 2010 until March 2013 with Bill Rychel, who is currently the Head Coach at STU. He assisted the offensive staff in all phases of creating and installing the offensive philosophy and game plan and created weekly opponent scouting reports, playbooks, film breakdown and critical analysis. He also coached three All-Conference players in 2012.
Prior to NDC, Neymeiyer coached at Wabash College from August 2008 to March 2010 as the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach. Wabash went 9-2 as entered the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III playoffs and Neymeiyer coached five All-Conference players and one All-American. Neymeiyer played at Wabash as a three-year letterwinner on the offensive line at center. He was voted team captain in 2008 and was a first-team All-Conference, All-North Region and All-American in 2008. Wabash went 40-7, the winningest class in school history, with four North Coast Athletic Conference championship with three NCAA DIII playoffs.
Neymeiyer earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in English while minoring in religion/political science from Wabash in 2009. He also earned his Masters of Science degree in sports management from Eastern Michigan in 2014.
