St. Thomas University Bobcats

Angelina “Angie” Bonner is a midfielder who began playing soccer when she was approximately six or seven years old. Before joining St. Thomas University, Bonner competed for Plantation FC, Davie Sharks, and Fort Lauderdale United. Throughout her soccer career, she has earned two Golden Boot awards for scoring the most goals.

One of Bonner’s favorite soccer memories came during a rivalry match. After initially leaving the game because of an injury, she returned with the score tied 1-1 and scored with her weak foot in the final five minutes to secure the victory for her team.

Off the field, Bonner plans to major in business and aspires to own her own business in the future. She has also earned Honor Roll recognition for her academic achievements. Bonner comes from an athletic family, as all three of her brothers played baseball.

When she is not playing soccer, Bonner enjoys spending time with her friends and playing flag football. Her favorite movie is Spider-Man, her favorite musical artist is Olivia Rodrigo, and her favorite food is French fries. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would choose Hawaii. Her favorite quote is, “Everything happens for a reason.”
