St. Thomas University Bobcats

McCann returns to the Bobcats for his second season as Assistant Coach for the Women's Basketball Team. In his first season with STU, McCann helped the Bobcats reach a record of 17-12, 13-3 in conference and reach the Sun Conference semi-final game.

Before his time at St. Thomas, McCann coached the junior varsity and varsity women's basketball team at University High School in Urbana, Illinois during their 2012-13 season. That year, McCann coached a player to a 1,000 point, 1,000 rebound career goal.

McCann graduated from University of Illinois in 2013 with a degree in Sport Management where he was a practice player/manager for the women's team during his four year tenure at the school. McCann is currently enrolled in the Sports Administration MS Program and is scheduled to graduate with his degree in December 2014. McCann aims to continue his coaching career after graduation.
