Daughter of Daniele Beretta and Livia Beretta, and a native of Golino, Switzerland, "Chiara", attended Scuola per Sportivi d’élite and played club soccer for FC Lugano. Beretta is majoring in marketing and aspires to focus on social media marketing.

Her favorite soccer memory is her freshman preseason coming to the US to play, her favorite food is sushi, and her quote is "experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted". In her free time, Beretta enjoys watching shows and singing.
