Jamieson Brooks, originally from Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada, is entering his third year as an assistant coach with the St. Thomas University (STU) Bobcats women’s soccer program. Brooks began his coaching career at his alma mater, Trinity Western University (TWU), and has accumulated a 34-21-8 record in his four seasons as an assistant coach. Prior to commencing his soccer coaching career, Brooks worked for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer (MLS) for five years in three administration roles (communications, ticket sales/customer service, & soccer development) within the professional sports business industry.
Brooks has racked up key accolades throughout his coaching career, helping guide the TWU Spartans men’s soccer team to a CIS/U Sports Canada West silver medal in 2017 and bronze medal in 2016. Brooks also helped lead the STU Bobcats to a Sun Conference semi-final playoff appearance in 2019.
Brooks is also currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration; Sports Administration degree at St. Thomas University. Brooks graduated from TWU with two degrees, completing his Bachelors of Human Kinetics; Sports & Leisure Management in 2011 and Masters of Arts in Leadership; Business in 2015.
