Daughter of Anna Freij and Johan Nyberg, and a native of Myresjö, Sweden, "Nat", attended Växjö Fria and played club soccer for Landsbro IF and Växjö DFF. Nyberg is majoring in Psychology and aspires to focus on the Sports Psychology field.

Her favorite soccer memory is playing with both her sisters and her mom on the field simultaneously, her favorite food is grilled salmon, and her quote is "Follow your plan, not the mood". In her free time, Nyberg enjoys art and painting.
