Career: Bannister transferred to STU from CCC for the 2016 season... during her freshman year at CCC, Bannister won the Conference Freshman of the Year award...since transferring to STU, she has been a integral part of the Bobcats defense... as the Libero for the 2017 regular season Conference Champion STU team, Bannister recorded over 500 digs, in addition to 40 service aces... as a Bobcat, she has been nominated to the Sun Conference 2nd team in both seasons.

Personal: Highlights of Bannister's STU career include beating then #2 ranked Missouri Baptist to open up the 2016 season and winning the regular season Sun Conference championship in 2016...she enjoys swimming and hiking in her free time... was a three-time first team player in high school back home in Kalama, Washington... after graduation, Bannister plans on becoming an OB Nurse... her favorite sports team is the Portland Trailblazers...favorite athlete is Kevin Durant... she loves to spend time with her family and also enjoys playing the game of volleyball with her teammates here at STU who she also calls family.
