Palm Beach Atlantic opened up play with a solid 25-14 game one victory before the Bobcats evened up the match at one game apiece with a 25-21 win of their own in game two. From there the Sailfish regular lineup would return and produce similar results as the first game with 25-13 and 25-14 wins to close out the match. PBA seemed to gain momentum as the match moved forward as they closed out game number four with a match-high .357 hitting percentage. Meanwhile STU volleyball recorded their season low .056 hitting percentage this ranks among the all time lowest hitting percentages in the program's history.
Slavica Stefanovic tallied seven kills, 7 digs, 1 ace and 1 block for the match. Regardless of the lack of productivity from the front row play,
Angie Ardiles continues to be a bright spot as she handled the libero duties and came away with the much needed 17 digs, since the Bobcats also managed to record a season low 2 blocks overall.
St. Thomas returns to the road on Friday, when they face-off against ERAU and Southeastern University. Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in Daytona Beach, Fla.
