LAKELAND, Fla. - Estaban Aristizabal won the SEU Fire Invitational Tuesday, firing a final round 71 to finish at 7-under par for the tournament.  St. Thomas came in second as a team, edging Johnson & Wales by two strokes.

Estaban led the Fire Invitational through two rounds by just one stroke.  Aristizabal beat George Thacker of USC-Beaufort by one stroke to hold on and claim the title.  St. Thomas moved from third to second on the final day of play with strong performances from several players.

Omar Tejeira shot rounds of 69 and 70 to close out the tournament and provide support for the Bobcats in the team competition.  Anesh Nagrani added a 70 on the final day to tie Max Keen at 224 for the tournament.  The Bobcats placed second, nine shots behind USC-Beaufort.

STU's second place finish is the best of the season.  The Bobcats will return to the links in 2011 at the Eagle Invitational on March 18.
