NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – The Lady Bobcats closed out their regular season with a big victory over Johnson & Wales Saturday. The Bobcats dominated and came out with an 89-36 win. The Wildcats proved to bring little competition for STU as the Bobcats headed into halftime with a 43-15 lead. Not much changed in the second period and the Bobcats rolled to their 4th consecutive win. Cindy Castrillon led the game in scoring with 27, grabbing 4 rebounds and forcing 2 steals. Carissa Staiano supported with 10 points off the bench, while Cayla Aaron had a big game in relief with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Nickerline Montina continued her consistent play with 12 points and 5 rebounds. The ladies finish the season in second place in the conference and will play Johnson & Wales again Thursday in the first round of the conference tournament. The winner of that game will face the winner of Fla. Memorial and Edward Waters.
