MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Women's Soccer team played a re-scheduled game today at Bobcat Field today and lost to Florida Memorial 3-2.

Both teams failed to score during the first half, but the second half proved to be more exciting.  The Lions struck first in the match's sixty-seventh minute.  Sara Mira answered for the Bobcats ten minutes later. 

The Lions continued their attack and scored back-to-back goals with just minutes to play.  Danielle Smith scored STU's last goal in the final minute of the match and the Lions took their first conference win of the season.

Victoria Shabhaz recorded fives saves for the match but couldn't hold the Lions off enough to get the victory.

The Bobcats move to 2-3 on the season and 0-1 in the Sun Conference.  STU will welcome Thomas (Ga.) to campus Sunday for a 1:30 PM match.
